Ferry Options
Ferry's are usually the fastest and most cost effictive way to get between St Thomas and Tortola.​
Ferry schedules can be confusing as they aren't the same day to day. Please double check your arrival and departure dates before buying round trip ferry tickets as the provider may not operate on the returning date you need. For a summary of all Ferry Boats available CLICK HERE.

Road Town Fast Ferry
Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas to
Road Town, Tortola
Charlotte Amalie Ferry Terminal is a quick (10-15 minute) taxi ride from the airport. Once you arrive in Road Town (it's about a one our ferry ride) you can taxi to Nanny Cay (about 10-15 minutes away) or another location that can be discussed directly with the crew. LINK TO ROAD TOWN FAST FERRY.

Sea Express West End Ferry
Red Hook, St Thomas to
West End, Tortola
The Red Hook Ferry Terminal is (30-45 minute) taxi ride from the airport. Once you arrive in West End (it's about a 30 minute ferry ride) the crew can pick you up directly at the ferry terminal and dinghy you out to the boat. LINK TO WEST END FERRY.

Water Taxi Options
Water Taxi's are usually the fastest and more expensive way to get between St Thomas and Tortola.
Water taxi service in the Virgin Islands is THE way to travel between the islands to get to your charter. They handle the check in and out through customs and immigration. A little more expensive than the public ferry but keep in mind, they save you a taxi ride form the ferry terminal as they deliver you directly to us at the dock or out on anchor.

A quick google search of water taxis will bring up A LOT of options, here are two options that our guests have used in the past that we have had great experiences with.

Last Mile Water Taxi
Last Mile has a large very comfortable catamaran style vessel for easy loading and unloading. ​​​​​​​​​​​

SeaHorse includes the taxi from the airport to the water taxi making your travel day seamless.

Pink Palm Hotel
Need a hotel on St Thomas? This is our favorite option.
The Pink Palm is located in downtown Charlotte Amalie. It's very convenient if you need a place to stay before or after your charter if flights don't quiet line up. LINK TO PINK PALM.

Sugar Mill Hotel
Need a hotel on Tortola? This is our favorite option.
